Around 3,000 retro football shirts are up for grabs in Newcastle with the launch of a pop-up shop which is only here for a limited time.

The Classic Football Shirt company has opened a pop-up, its first in the city, where it has taken care to include many Newcastle United tops – 1,000 to be exact – among its stock. Dating from the 80s to the present, the shirts include rarities and big names, such as Alan Shearer, Les Ferdinand and Andy Cole, as well as options from Sunderland and Middlesbrough and others from teams and clubs around the world entire.

The shop is in Eldon Garden, just off the link to Eldon Square, and on Wednesday’s opening day in the city, Ciaran Gold, the company’s retail manager, was delighted with the first turnout which saw fans raking the rails and checkout. big deal.
