Wycombe Wanderers fans get involved with Football Shirt Friday
Last Friday (November 19), football fans around the world took part in Football Shirt Friday, an annual event that sees supporters of the sport don their favorite shirts.
The purpose of the day is to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund, to help those battling bowel cancer in memory of England’s World Cup-winning captain.

Fans of teams around the world took part and shared their snaps on social media, with some Wycombe fans also involved.

One of the images is of Stephen Burnett and his fiancée, Chris Driver.
The engaged couple, who have supported the Chairboys for several years, regularly visit Adams Park, with Stephen also having links with one of the county’s non-league clubs, Risborough Rangers.
Their photo is from September this year, when Wycombe lost 6-1 to Manchester City in the League Cup third round.

It was Wycombe’s first-ever visit to the stadium.

Damian Plested Atkins showed off an image of himself wearing a mid-1990s Wanderers shirt, while Anthony Honey shared a photo of himself on duty while donning this season’s home kit.

Anthony, who is currently based in Kenya, also shared several other snaps of his team wearing their favorite shirts on Football Shirt Friday.
